Ecommerce & Customer Care

We are looking for a driven and energetic Head of Digital - Ecommerce & Customer Care to join a small team in a well established growing business within the luxury skincare and spa sector. Based at the company's HQ in Teningen (near Freiburg) the role will be responsible for the optimal commercial interpretation and implementation of the brand's strategy and vision across the online experience.

Reporting directly to the senior management team this pivotal role will look after the digital communication and platforms for the company on a global scale. Innovation, passion, proactive thinking as well as a customer-centric attitude are key qualities for the successful candidate. E-commerce is an important developing sector within the business and with the constant evolution of digitally focused communication platforms this dedicated role offers great potential for growth.

To be considered for this role the candidate will need to have demonstrable experience in the disciplines required for the position.

Core Duties:
  • Manage relationship with all third party digital facilitators
  • Manage relationship with the Drop Ship company in UK
  • Assist in the stock management for Drop Ship Company including development, administration and reporting of sample plan
  • Assist in the creative management of all collateral of digital channels
  • Manage and keep current the company website to ensure all information is up-to-date
  • Devise and implement strategies that consistently grow social media activity and interaction
  • Co-ordinate the design and execution e-marketing campaigns including regular newsletters, seasonal and targeted initiatives working with all stakeholders to agree creative, messaging, timings and schedules
  • Ensure regular and relevant blog posts in line with overall strategy
  • Setup and manage all PPC campaigns across Google Adwords and any other platforms as and when required
  • Recommend and execute technical and on page optimisation in line with best practice across all areas including content, code, meta tags and keywords
  • Optimize online activity, monitor and log statistical data
  • Assist in expanding brand's profile on third party sites
  • Maintain strong relationships with global teams in order to share best practices and implement global communication
  • Provide good quality copy on B2B and B2C basis
  • Supervise creative library and act as liaison for distribution of required artwork/images
  • Researching, managing and producing key competitor profiles and digitally focused activities
  • Manage web analytics and marketing reporting
  • Designing marketing strategies to increase conversion online
  • Manage Customer Relations and respond to any queries, complaints or issues in a professional and efficient manner, a positive customer experience is key.
  • Maintain log of customer issues and follow escalation procedure as required.
  • Provides regular reports on areas of activity to senior management team

Database

Manage and maintain multiple databases and execute relevant communication plan
Assist in the growth of data for online initiatives including third party partnerships and dedicated activity

Key competencies:
  • Excellent English verbal and interpersonal communicational skills
  • A strong understanding of the digital luxury sector
  • Previous experience of devising and implementing sound commercial campaigns in both a B2B and B2C environment
  • Demonstrate knowledge of all social media platforms and proven ability to grow activity and engagement
  • Compelling presentation and written skills with experience of writing rich content for use electronically
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills with ability to manage multiple projects with ease
  • Good technical skills and computer literacy with in-depth knowledge of relevant software
