Without the vision of surgeon Dr. med. Erich Schulte, "real" collagen and QMS Medicosmetics would not play a leading role in high-performance skincare today. As early as the 1980s, he was looking for a way to prepare the skin of burn and accident victims for good wound healing before surgery. He spent years researching collagen and eventually transformed his findings into a new therapeutic approach, which he used successfully in plastic, aesthetic and cosmetic surgery. In response to the great interest, he made his unique treatment concept usable for regular anti-aging skincare. In 1994, he finally founded the company QMS Medicosmetics and set a milestone in cosmetics with a completely new skincare system, which still enjoys worldwide recognition today.

Stefanie Wriedt was the head of the research & development department of a renowned manufacturer of natural marine premium cosmetics for 8 years. She is also an expert in institute cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

Jean Krutmann is a dermatologist and director of the IUF – Leibniz Institute for Environmental Medicine Research. He is conducting research on molecular mechanisms of environmentally induced skin aging and associated skin diseases. In this context, he also deals with DNA repair systems. The aim of his research is the development of molecular preventive medical approaches against environmentally induced skin damage.
