Derma Expert LED Light Treatment
The Derma Expert LED Light Treatment is a non-invasive, at-home phototherapy mask designed to visibly rejuvenate skin, enhance elasticity, and reduce the signs of aging. Part of the professional-grade Derma Expert collection, this flexible silicone face mask is developed in collaboration with dermatologists to deliver clinical-level results through targeted red and near-infrared light wavelengths.
- Stimulates natural collagen and elastin production for improved firmness.
- Reduces fine lines and wrinkles, smoothing skin’s surface.
- Enhances blood flow and oxygenation, delivering nutrients more efficiently to skin cells.
- Boosts the body’s own defense and repair mechanisms.
- Evens skin tone and minimizes discoloration.

This treatment utilizes a tri-wavelength LED system—630nm, 830nm, and 1070nm—that penetrates deep into the dermis to stimulate cell metabolism, regeneration, and healing.
The Power of Light Therapy
LED light energy activates chromophores in the skin, triggering a cascade of biochemical reactions that strengthen mitochondria, enhance ATP production, and boost cellular renewal. This energy fuels the synthesis of collagen, elastin, and essential skin proteins.
Wavelength-Specific Benefits
- 630nm (Red Light): Encourages collagen synthesis, reduces redness, boosts oxygen flow, and supports an even skin tone. Ideal for dull, irritated, or inflamed skin.
- 830nm (Near-Infrared): Stimulates fibroblasts and wound-healing pathways. Enhances blood circulation, oxygen delivery, and overall skin vitality.
- 1070nm (Near-Infrared): The deepest-penetrating LED wavelength clinically proven to target inflammation, reduce under-eye puffiness, and visibly improve tone and texture.
To achieve optimal results, use the Derma Expert LED Mask 3–5 times per week for 10 minutes per session, over a minimum period of 6 weeks.
-
1
Cleanse and exfoliate your skin to ensure optimal light penetration. If desired, insert the included protective eyewear.
-
2
Place the mask over your face and secure it with the velcro straps. Adjust for a close fit around the forehead, cheeks, and chin.
-
3
Connect the mask to the controller and press ON. The device will automatically turn off after 10 minutes.
-
4
After treatment, remove the mask and apply your usual QMS skincare regimen.

LED Light Treatment
Clinically Proven Results
In an independent clinical study using LED facemask technology with the 1070nm wavelength applied four times per week for 6–8 weeks:
- 98% of participants reported skin felt firmer
- 96% saw less visible fine lines
- 95% observed skin that was brighter and more plump
- 52% noted visible improvement in overall complexion and eye-area fine lines
- 46% reported reduced under-eye bags and puffiness
Participants described their skin as smoother, softer, and more even in tone, with reduced redness and pigmentation. These findings align with the benefits attributed to the QMS Derma Expert LED Light Treatment mask.

The Science Behind the Technology
clinically supported wavelengths
LED phototherapy, also known as photobiomodulation (PBM) or low-level light therapy (LLLT), is a well-established, non-invasive approach to skin rejuvenation. It works by delivering specific wavelengths of light to targeted layers of the skin, where light-sensitive chromophores primarily in the mitochondria, absorb this energy and trigger a series of beneficial biochemical reactions. These include increased collagen synthesis, enhanced cellular repair, improved blood circulation, and accelerated wound healing.
The 630nm red light wavelength is known to boost collagen production, reduce redness and inflammation, and support cellular repair by improving oxygen flow to the skin. The 830nm near-infrared light further enhances collagen and elastin synthesis, while also increasing circulation and improving skin hydration. The 1070nm deep near-infrared light penetrates deeper than any other LED wavelength currently used in skincare devices. It activates anti-inflammatory pathways, supports dermal remodeling, and is FDA-cleared for its role in accelerating the skin’s natural healing response.
